  • There ya go. Now you have our attention!
  • Holy smoke, I'm liking this thread already. Big time! :D
  • Thanks! I have a lot more, and one sheets as well.  I will take some more photos over the weekend and put some more up.  I have been having a big sort out.
  • Great posters Brent! Daybills rule! Where abouts are you from and how long have you been collecting movie posters?
  • I live in Auckland, New Zealand - been collecting since I was a child (in my 50s now).  Used to work in cinemas. Should have picked up a lot more! I am slowly getting my collection down to a manageable size, getting the ones I want to keep linen backed and some framed and selling some duplicates. The oldest poster I have is The Mummy's Hand, one sheet, and a 3 sheet for Mr Smith Goes to Washington.
  • Very Nice Poster's Brent
  • Woah! Nice stuff...
  • Very Nice Poster's Brent
Craig in the house, welcome to the forum matey!
  • Great stuff!  And the "kiwiposter" name makes a lot of sense now (given a lot of those posted as NZ posters)
  • Just great stuff Brent, good to have a (fellow) Kiwi on board!
  • lovely Brent, I'd love to add a couple of those to my collection!

  • :-O

    Damn Brent! Simply fantastic!

Love the Endless Summer...just so you know it would look better on my wall than in your drawers.
  • Great posters Brent. Who's you're linen backer if you don't mind me asking?
  • And the hits keep on rolling.  :-bd
  • Dale Anthony, the only person in New Zealand who does it.  Trained in New York.  He has done all my backing, and a lot of restoration on some very old posters I came into possession of which had been stored under lino for many years.  He does a great job at very reasonable prices.
  • Cool. Thanks for the info Brent. Does Dale have a website/ contact details?
  • Contact him at - daleanthonynz@yahoo.co.nz.
  • Did you have Dale do the backing on all of these or were some purchased already backed?
  • WOW.... Thanx now i need to change my pants, I got a bit excited :)
  • I really  like this Kiwi guy, not only has he great taste, but Jollyfine posters too....
  • Dale has done all my linen backing, including one sheets and 3 sheets.  He restored some daybills that once I would have consigned to the rubbish bin.  He also sells on Ebay as mediagram
