Favorite Sports Movie...

I've thought really hard about this... Field of Dreams is one I watch at least once a year...

Comments

  • Brian's Song is an excellent movie. Although I do like Any Given Sunday. 49 was a pretty good movie as well.
  • Field of Dreams I enjoy, add in Rocky, Senna was pretty impressive, Heaven Can Wait I don't mind either, Pumping Iron, The Hustler...

And of course Blades of Glory, Cool Runnings and Dodgeball

I've see them all more than once, by choice...OK the last two just once.
  • Remember the Titans, oh and I guess Big Wednesday counts as one.
  • Rocky is an excellent movie. I totally forgot about that one. Or should I say all 6 of them.
  • Any given sunday for me, Al pacino's inspiration speech is awesome!
  • Been meaning to watch that movie again, thanks for reminding me Reg.
  • No problemo
  • Get a room
  • Threesome?
  • Sure, I'll bring the tire iron
  • Seems like u like the tire iron alot David. Bring it, ill put it to good use but make sure u bring urself some butt lube..  =))
  • Hoosiers and Rudy, both written by the same person.

  • Yeah Hoosiers! Great movie...
  • Rocky IV probably
  • Longest Yard (1974)

I think the first 4 Rocky movies were the best out of the 6. Rocky 5 with Tommy the Gunn wasn't that great and part 6 where he fights Dixon was just yawnnnnn
  • I watched Rocky II this paste weekend - never gets old... Rocky has to be on the list for sure... Great pick!
  • Getting Senna out the way. That was the best sports documentary I have ever seen. Got me into F1.

Best fictional sports movies have to be Slapshot and Goon. I love hockey. :)

Moving outside hockey...For me, its Raging Bull.
