  • Thanks. One more game. One more win.
  • Our forwards are quite big

  • They'd have to be the favourites going into the final.
  • Freakin giant!!!!!!!! Freight train coming...
  •  Just watched some highlights. Richie McCaw looks like he'd be good back up in a dark alley. So next Sunday is the final? Will have to see if our ESPN channel will carry it. Still wondering why no pads are used?

I think the question should be, why are pads used in American Football?

I'm trying to think of something witty to say, but clearly the All Blacks & rugby players have some stones to play their sport!
  • Talladega Superspeedway! 200+ miles per hour! Jeff Gordon's last restrictor plate race. NASCAR at its best!
  • Watched Jurassic World - It was a good movie...
  • what we do in the shadows...vampire horror comedy, new zealand production...enjoying it!
  • Typically dry Jemaine Clement humour, quite good.
  • Vertigo on Foxtel last night, reconfirming my suspicions that Kim Novak was hot.

  • David, you are sooooooo right! :plus_one: Kim Novak was beautiful and perfect in that role! Vertigo, wonderful classic!
  • Congrats David! Looks like your All Blacks made history! Back-to-back Rugby Championships. Not sure if condolences are in order for others as they defeated the Aussies.
  • Vertigo is pretty average in the Hitchcock scheme of things
  • Congrats David!!!
  • Gunfight at the OK Coral classic western...forgot how good it was.
  • I saw The Angry Silence a few days ago. Gritty English union drama with Richard Attenborough and Michael Craig - great film.

Great film and was as co-written by Michael Craig. I am curious if he still calls Australia Home ?

    Lancaster and Douglas
  • One of the standout performances from the 10 part mini series The Pacific from 2010, which I have mentioned previously, was from Rami Malek who played '' Snafu''.He is the lead in the new television series Mr. Robot which I am currently viewing and when he is on screen, which is most of the time, he dominates the screen. One of the better American drama series which is dominated by U. K. series these days. Recommended viewing.

  • Mr. Robot  - on Presto only?

I watched the first episode of Longmire on Netflix the other night, personally I thought it was meh - old school sheriff in backwater town with personal issue solves crimes whilst dealing with the local characters - but I thought the actor who played the character Longmire was outstanding....then it turns out he's an Australian, Robert Taylor.

    'nuff said
  • And so the Doctor Who fans of the world fall down in a frenzy

  • How was it?

And I'll say it. Dude, your cables are showing.

  • Looks like it was made ( and was ) on a shoestring budget. I have seen all the highlights now ( if you can call them that ) so I will not need to see the complete film.
  • Casino royale daniel craig. Love this bond movie!

Fairly simple plot but no real motive for the monster to kill as the film didn't really make it clear she was attacking when attacked.  She just seemed to kill everything she came in contact with. Especially when you consider the note about first contact at the end...  I also was hoping for a sexier monster given the poster and pictures on the DVD.
