Good ole Cinemasterpieces. I would check their website to see if they have any comparable prices on similar items. They tend to be slightly high in their prices...
Absolutely 100% accurate, that is the price Dave is asking and its pretty rare. But as Mark says, Dave (CineMasterpeieces) is at the high end of the market (and all power to him).
Now am sure research will tell you that most of the original wildings for this film sell for around less than half of that asking price. I did a quick look and there is (apparently) an R71 and an R74 folded version that you can pick up for a few hundred or less. HA has sold an original wilding for as high as $13K once but I suspect the bidder was have a spasm whilst holding the bidding paddle.
Ah...this old chestnut. This lot has been up for years. When I have time later I will try to find the original posts about this guy over on NS I think it was...
There was also a lot on MoPo about him some years ago. I thought this statement from his auctions was just a little over the top.....
Buying these posters is ECONOMY PROOF! Why waste your money in the stock market? It can crash regardless of any decision you make and can even crash regardless of any decision made by the company related to the stock - leaving you with a near worthless piece of paper that won't inspire anyone! With the purchase of historic documents such as these two original Alfred Hitchcock posters it doesn't matter what happens to the economy, you'll still have the inspirational documents, which can be displayed and enjoyed. The magnificence of art and historic documents have an inherent value that relates to civilization and society. Unless civilization itself crashes then these pieces will hold their value, and, if civilization itself crashes - Who'll care about money? These posters are definitely ECONOMY PROOF!
Nice to see their response as well as the adjustment to the advert.
"NOTE: It has been brought to my attention that my three inserts purchased from the Movie Poster Page are likely bootleg, not original as sold to me. I have contacted this business which still operates and am awaiting their response. My apologies for inadvertently misleading fellow eBay community members."
Nice work Matt!
On a side note they refer to the gear coming from Movie Poster Page anyone know who this might be?

The Raiders is probably a bootleg as well.
I've messaged the seller.

Yes, he did get back to me saying he was disappointed that he brought the posters in good faith.....buyer beware!
As for MPP, I've purchased daybills from him, can't remember his name. Was quite a while ago.
