2015's greatest hits!

Time to reflect and reminisce...

What additions to your collection are you particularly pleased with during 2015?

Off the top of my head, it would be daybills for Psycho, Green Slime, Blood Diner and Revenge of Frankenstein - but I could list plenty more!

  • I did OK this year, I missed out on a few, a couple of which I am still crying myself to sleep at night over; I scored some good deals with others and crossed a couple off my want list. All the ones I added to the collection are favorites so picking one is hard.

However, this one was a surprise addition to the collection and now hangs on the wall behind me.

  • Striking poster!

Sure it's been noted before, but one of the very few of any poster I've seen with so few credits. Makes me wish more were like that. The 20th CentFox logo is only hinted at.
  • FINALLY!  A decent Monroe daybill...the kids must have called in sick the day they were doing the art on that one and a grown up just had to step in.  Very very nice!  I think this one and Niagara are the nicest I've seen.

    This one for me...

  • Forget about the number 28 across the credits this is a great poster. Congratulations.
  • Well done Ves...you do score some special ones don't you?!  :o
  • Yup Ves! I nearly fell over in the hallway when I saw that one.

    Move the vacuum
  • Ask Ves. It was her hallway.
  •
  • Been a pretty lean year for acquisitions but this is the stand out for me.

  • Nice, Matt! And a stand out movie as well!
  • While my first reaction is to post the magnificent Cleopatra, I would have to go with my first Italian Locandia: Winchester '73. I was blown away when I saw it!

I can't screw this one up when I back it! =)
  • Great image, should pop when you back it.
  • Very nice Mark.
  • Colours on Wake Island are insane!

Love the artwork on Winchester 73...is an artist credited?

    Perhaps @orobello Flippo might know?

I would like to know as well-no indication on the poster-I bought from HA so will check.
  • My display for 2016, put up today, includes major 2015 purchases Creature from the Black Lagoon and TDTESS, along with the repaired King Kong
  • Nicely done Rick!   :)
  • That's what posters are for, framing and hanging!

    Well done Rick.

    Looks fantastic  Rick..congrats!
  • OLD man WOW that's hot!

  • Great display, Rick! Those daybills look good together!
  • Everyone else who has not contributed to this thread apparently have the Scrooge Bah Humbug disease.

    Let's see them biatches!

  • I'll go the Winchester 73 half sheet :)

  • Sorry I came down with 'I'm a bit lazy and my iPhone sucks at posting images that are on my computer syndrome'. Even though I took a 50 mg dose of 'This thread is pinned so I can actually find it through Hondo's quiz soup'... I might be feeling better by NewYears though.
  • My favorite acquisition of the year by Akiko. I think there were only 9 or 10 printed.

  • Nice piece Carson, what size is it?
