A comedy quiz is currently being planned and I will rest one of my current three quizzes later in the year and substitute this quiz in it's place. Who's for comedy?
If it contains lots of Martin and Lewis, Abbott and Costello and Peter Sellers...I'm in
Good but the trouble is the images from the films of the people you list above are so obvious you will most likely know them all and there will be no challenge for you .

Little response but I will trial it shorty for a short period. If you wondered where the above image comes from it is from the Australian daybill of A Ticket To Tomahawk frpm 1950. I know which comedians Ves is interested in so does anyone else have any favourites I can try and stump you with.
Goodness no fans these days. Image # I answer is Peter Cook and Dudley Moore in Bedazzled from 1967. Clues were dud and fringes. Sadly how soon does one forget.
Top # 5, 2nd down # 6, 3rd down ( left ) # 7 ( right ) # 8 & bottom # 9.
Name the film titles these images come from. First three images are from films released in the 1950's and the bottom two images are from the 1940's. All the titles shown except # 2 which is from the U.K., are from the U.S.A. Some comedy teams are involved but not all of the titles feature comedy teams. Something here for everyone, including members from the U.S.A. and Great Britain that I have specially selected images for. Good luck and please let us hear from you. I believe no really hard ones here to answer and in fact a couple at least should be very easy to identify. If you prefer more modern comedy films a series of images from more current films will follow a little later on.
