Horror Poster Mystery In New Zealand

When Lust For a Vampire ( 1971 ) was released in New Zealand the distributor used an English one sheet of the title and added the sheer terror and the R classification, which was placed over the woman's exposed breasts. The second image above right has had a title change using the same first poster and just changing the title block to Burn, Witch Burn. The same R16 classification was granted to the two films and it would appear the same film distributor imported both films. I first thought of something that seemed possible at the time on what had taken place, but on further investigation is turns out not to be so. Any thoughts on the film titled Burn, Witch Burn. This title appears on the poster that was advertised for release in New Zealand after it was passed for public exhibition in 1976 under another title but changed later to Burn,Witch Burn ?

Not sure exactly what you're asking?

    Sorry about the confusion then.

The Lust For A Vampire film poster from 1971 was changed in 1976 to advertise another film titled on the poster as  Burn, Witch Burn. This wasn't  a re-release title for Lust For A Vampire nor had it anything to do with the 1962 Night Of An Eagle aka Burn, Witch Burn film. The new name of Burn Witch Burn was a late minute change for a Italian film called something completely different. The subject of the film was more to do with witches than vampires.

Night Of The Damned ( 1971 ). This is the film that the Burn, Witch Burn poster was promoting in New Zealand circa 1976.
