If you have a mobile and can surf this site then at the top of your mobile phone (screen) on the left tap the three little bars (that is the menu).

    Hello!

Screenshot all that and complain you mel :p

(tap it again to return to the front page)

Unfortunately I can't assist in critiquing the mobile site, as I only have a dumb phone which still has messages from 9-11 on it - it was purchased late last century

Just making comments by members classier and much more intelligent :o looking by adding some dropcap functionality

Which will be automatically applied when one is quoted...easier to spot the original post then?

    Mark...

  • I spent about 15 minutes the other day looking up the quote, it's attributed to him in many places as well as the 'fool' quote. Both are actually a modification of writings of John Lydgate. If you think about it, it's a perfect signature no matter who it is attributed too. Plus there is no proof it or the 'fool' quote was actually said, so it even is applicable to itself. They think it, or a form of it, was said at one of his speeches, but can't prove it.

Ergo, I'm not going to go and change it because some pompous Aussie thinks he knows everything. You are just one of those that is never 'pleased'.
  • While the trend in modern writing is towards less commas, you should still enclose your interpolations.

space before and after ellipsis: quoted ... easier

  • I'm pleased often enough, whatcha crapping on about... Nearly all my website suggestions made here have been implemented, including now David making the quoted section easier to read. I reiterate... <thumbsup>

You should know by now nearly everything I say is tongue in cheek! I don't care about the quote or whether I nearly run out of breath trying to say it because there are no comma's.

I'm definitely not pompous, and certainly don't know everything, as my few posts above clearly state about me be a smart phone Luddite knowing next to nothing about them. Why would you say these, - are there no true insult you can think of throwing my way, so any will do? Looks dumb... Substantiate it or I'll say...

Your hairy, smelly, vain, think you know everything about coloring in pencils and wheat paste, have to have the last word, and are acting like a right royal Charlie.

(seeing you don't get any of my posts in this thread.... THIS POST IS MOSTLY NOT SERIOUS! - except for the previous paragraph of course)

    :-p

( dang only 16 smilies - that's a smiley blowing a whistle calling the forum police)

Ummm, I see you updated your signature and it is noticeable you suffer from COS: Comma, Overuse, Syndrome
