Did you skip maths at school?
This is currently doing the rounds, and so many people are getting it wrong. What's your answer?

One of these answers (below) is right, the rest are the answers by others (and incredibly there were more but you're only allowed 10 options in these polls!)

The clues are correct and provided you apply the rules of maths then you can solve it.
x+2y=18
y-z=2
x=10, y=4, z=2
a+10b=?
You can assume from the pictures that:
a=z/2 and b=y/2 or a=1 and b=2 so 21 but you have to make the assumption; a could equal 3000 and b=0... its just a trick to make you miss the change in variables...
There can only be one answer because you must do maths in the correct order anyway (and my answer was wrong, but I answered with the original answer).
The last statement is correct, the rest of what you said convinces me you are from another planet...
I'm no maths genius, but with all the supplied answers being even, surely you couldn't have an odd number as the final outcome??
Only one horseshoe / boot.
Master is tricksy ...
Plus I didn't know to multiply / divide first.
I don't see two horseshoes. Think like a poster collector.
Let's say person JC is selling two daybills that are the same. He sends you a pic of one on top of the second with the lower right corner not visible. Let's say they are worth $100 each in near mint condition, so he's asking $200.
You want a pic of the second poster. He says nah, too busy feeding the dog.
What would you do?
Offer $100 for the top poster......
What is BODMAS formula in maths?
