Original sizes

I found a poster on Ebay. It's listed at 27X41. I see the same poster on other sites - they are all listed at 27X40. Is it possible for a poster to be issued at 2 different sizes? The film came out in 1985, around the time sizes changed. I want to check before purchasing. The gentleman said he will double check the size and let me know. If it ends up in fact being 27X41, should I still buy?

  • Yes there are some posters in both sizes...  Usually towards the end of the 27x41 printing years (1985).  I'll see if I can find an example.  What is the title of the film?
  • I checked around quickly.  There are some examples but I didn't find any prominent titles in a quick 10 minute search.  Your best best is to go with the 27x41 if you are worried.  Else shoot me a PM and I'll check it out for you.
  • Thank you for helping. A view to a Kill is the movie.
