Not my pic, but you get the idea ;)
  • Beautiful!
  • Probably Attack of the 50ft Woman because it was originally banned here.

  • Love that Deadly Organ Matias. Now another added to my want list that I will never complete lol.
  • It usually pops up. Got mine from an online bookstore, at a really good price. I was happy :)

Love the action in this poster!

Another great image with wonderful color!

  • The Lost Squadron  ( 1932 ). The graphics and colour are great.

  • Wow  great choices. I was fortunate to see the Buck Jones in person and IT IS STUNNING!

Need to think which one is mine. I wont go for a Rudolph Valentino ...but will think about one.

    Beautiful!

Indeed. Richard Dix seems to have been featured in several good posters!

That's because Richard Dix worked for RKO, which had the most artistic posters overall in the early 1930s!

Here is a handy checklist to help tell eMoviePoster.com apart from all other major auctions!
HAS lifetime guarantees on every item - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS unrestored and unenhanced images - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS 100% honest condition descriptions - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS auctions where the winner is the higher of two real bidders - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS "buyers premiums" - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "reserves or starts over $1 - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS hidden bidder IDs - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS no customer service to speak of - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "nosebleed" shipping charges - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS inadequate packaging - NOT eMoviePoster.com

  • Talking about Richard Dix at RKO, what about these excellent Cimarron ( 1931 ) U.S. and Swedish one sheets then?

  • I saw the top one (Cimarron) auctioned off at HA - it was quite awesome to see...

Wow!!! Richard Dix + RKO = Fantastic artwork/posters!
  • Both impressive!
  • Gosh the posters from this period are in a world of their own aren't they?

For me anything with Clara Bow...something about that face.  I hope one day to be able to add some paper with that gorgeous face to my collection!

  • Red hair is nice!
  • since we are on a Richard Dix kick, this 1 sheet of mine is also his.  The one on the right.

These are from an old apartment.  The posters are still hanging, but in better surroundings.  I really need to update this photo.

  • Oh nice lamp!  Beautiful posters too.
  • Can I dream big? I would love to own "The thief of Bagdad" pegasus style (art by Anton Grot)

For some reason i cant post pics (my fault) photobucket is playing up. So here is the link (though I gather you all know which one it is)

     http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/film_title/THIEF+OF+BAGDAD+%28%2724%29/type/1sh/archive.html
  • Ps. Can you also add any Bogart 1sh poster where he looks like Bogart rather than Grandpa Bogart  or Bogie Billy the Kid . Thank you!
  • Whoa! Have never seen that Thief Pegasus style poster before, awesome!

As for Bogie, I agree! I like anything from his "detective" films...

  • Here you go...that is a stunning poster.

  • What's wrong with grandpa Bogart?  ;)

  • I don't know if these are at the very top of my list but I've always really liked them:

(Don't know if an original 1936 release has ever been found?  So in its place is the 40s rr)
