Maybe 7, just picked up the Dunkirk daybill as well, unfortunately it's trimmed. So a trip to the restorer. Is it worth it...since Bruce sold one over 15 years ago for 10 bucks.

    I'm a sucker for a resto.

Thanks Matt. Hope you will share the Dunkirk daybill soon, and im sure the resto is worth it!
  • lovely poster Matt
  • Thanks guys.  The D man will be busy very soon.
  • Recent acquisition from EMP during a recent Sunday auction. Condition was so good, couldn't pass up....

  • Nice one!

  • Well done Mark!
  • i like that Ten Commandments, it often sells for cheaper than what it should be worth.

I tried to upload a new Gog daybill and Kissin' Cousins Aussie one-sheet but the ads on photobucket beat me!
  • Nice one Mark! Looks like the aussie artists nailed that one

  • Landed the Blonde Sinner 1S from EMP today. Had it in Round 1, a must-recover for Round 2. This is heading for lbacking, the fold lines cross the face, severely detracting from its appearance IMO:

I guess Dors was the UK's Marilyn Monroe:

Yes, because that is the first thing one looks at..

I guess Dors was the UK's Marilyn Monroe:

Indeed she was, a bit of a self promoter, I vaguely remember her in the 70s not being out of the news too often. She had an interesting (original) surname too
  • Just like the BBC...
  • Another Junk shop find at the weekend, a tad creased, but the artwork still looks pretty fine with the exception of the 'ghosting' ratings decal.

  • Some recent stuff, travelling to Charlie's at the moment...

    Strange World still

    "Fiebre" mexican small poster

  • Pretty happy with this one, currently residing in a secret bunker in Australia.

@Matt what are the printer details for that daybill?

    Gilprint Litho Sydney
Thx Matt. Never come across a daybill with thosr printer details. Wonder what other daybills they printed..
Gilprint Litho Sydney, apart from printing the Above us The Waves daybill also printed the BEF 1956 re-release daybill  of the 1940's originally released The Big Top. They appeared to have printed BEF titles only around 1956. There were a couple of other minor British titles I remember seeling daybills of printed by BEF also, but I cannot bring their titles to mind.
  • Some recent pickups...  Still waiting on the Dolce Vita.
