Lovely Legs!

So the very talented Mark has got this beauty looking well, beautiful!

I'm thinking ahead...I have 4 frames above my desk and I have two loverly legs posters so far - Silk Stocking and My Sister Eileen...my OCD requires me to pick up two more

What can I add?  Throw em at me...must be daybills

  • Forgot I had this one!

  • Some daybill titles that spring to me mind are The French Line, The Blue Angel ( 1959 ), The Seven Year Itch, Pagan Love Song & Red Garters. I am unsure if you even own any of them.

  • Ves you need to further stretch the wallet and find a Moon Over Miami (or steal it from whoever bought Johns') ;)

Although the US paper is iconic of course...
  • What does the League of Their Own daybill look like?
  • Still kick myself for not buying the Quad for Silk Stockings...   Oh well maybe another will turn up at some point.
  • I have the US 1 sheet, which is a totally different concept.  I must admit that the daybill has a much better composition and overall appearance.  Wish I had that one.
  • Daybill for A League of Their Own is all faces..the aussie one sheet is a winner.

One Sheet for Moon Over Miami is stunning but the daybill leaves me wanting after seeing the OS...

Pagan Love Song is the one I had in my head but couldn't remember the name!  Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

This is nice too Jay...but yeah, looks like the kids who normally draw the daybills had the day off when Silk Stockings was up...the grown ups did a great job!

Picture Paul?  I can't seem to find one...
  • Have you thought about a quad with Daybills either side...?

As Viva Las vagas quad is jollygood too.. and I don't mean the Elvis film.
  • Nice quad Paul.
  • Betty Grable...not a Daybill

  • I have the 3 sheet for Red Garters, which is nicer than the 1 sheet and about the same as the daybill.  As you can see though, mine is in somewhat lesser condition.  Kind of afraid to get a quote on fixing it up as it will never be worth it.

  • Your daybill Ves of Artists And Models and there are many Virginia Mayo daybill images including The Girl From Jones Beach, She's Got Rhythm, Pearl Of The South Pacific and my main suggestion A Song Is Born.

  • Cyd Charisse had killer legs....

  • Silk Stockings QUAD is superb!  Hopefully another one comes around for you Paul.

Loving Hot Spot too but wrong size.

I already have 4 daybill frames there that I swap out so not keen on paying for another frame.

Though I do have two quad frames upstairs which I also like to rotate should you feel like sending some of your superb quads down under for a visit!

Said it before say it again, if I didn't collect the aussie stuff I reckon Quads would be my thing!

  • That Moon Over Miami daybill was a bad print copy. The crosshairs don't line up at the top of the daybill.

My only Elvis daybill. Live a Little Love a Little.

  • Cabaret is great and what about the Shirley Maclaine titles John Goldfarb Please Come Home, Sweet Charity, Gambit and Woman Times Seven ?

  • how could we forget sofia!

  • Some more suggestions.  Me likely the Cabaret!
