January 2018
Alright, I'm an attention aficionado, get to start yet another month!
*****
Overanalyzing it, it represents the steep, uncertain path they're taking against the Nixon Administration.
The Post
*****
Blue Crush
This poster sucks (!) everybody is thinking....
Naw, it's really cool, blue motif/Blue Crush!
No, it really does suck, no good excuse....
*****
I bought The Post and foolishly perused the seller's other 5,000 posters (!) and picked out these three MPs that struck my fancy:
Dark Tower
Now You See Me 2
Goldmember (recalled for ripping off JB)

-The Post is repetitive of course but cool-your interpretation is valid-....all of course after LBJ left.
-Blue Crush, is well....Blue Crush
-Now You See Me 2 is a very clever design. Would like to own that one.
Yeah, good to see artists can still use their brain when designing a poster.
Geisha
Ballets Russes - no clue what this is about....
Step Into Liquid: Always wanted to be a surfer, but was landlocked several hours from pitiful US East Coast waves....
Did pick up some lobbies for Weird Science:
You'd never guess, but it's a full-size 1S commercial poster from Poland.
Guess I gotta watch the flick now.....
A nice couple of longbill's for Charlie Chan and for one I'd never heard of Radio Pirates.

Here's a short video featuring his 30yo granddaughter Molly McQueen, driving VERY unsafely through a parking garage:
With the actual Mustang used in the movie, which will be auctioned later:
Downhill Racer (1969 US 1S SSF)
Here's my latest pickup I'm proud of.
Bataan-Italian Locandia....it's not nearly as sweet as Matt's Daybill, but as it's cousin, I like it and the price was right!
I actually bought it in part, to restore an Italian Locanda. With my goal being to restore my Winchester 73. Bataan seems to have the same tack mark stains on it so I'll practice on it before hitting the Winchester 73.
Superman (1978 US 1S SSF):
Circus Girl (1954 US 1S SSF):
I also picked up three heavily trimmed 42nd Street cards for under $20. This is the best of the three. The missing paper is just 3 squiggly lines and a bit of text, so I am thinking about sending it out for repair and backing.
Like it Jay. Classy!
Love the Tigers Mel.
Finally, the postman came. It's been a while.
Japanese B2 Dam Busters
10 Photobustas for Guns of Navarone 1967 RR. The originals are hard to come by. I have one at least.
Oh they came with the original envelope too.
Nice Italians @Matt
Pulp Fiction (1994 JB2 SSR):More menacing than the US MP:
*****
Pan's Labyrinth (2007 JB2 SSR): Loverly....
