February 2018

Something I picked up a few months ago. I've wanted to start collecting beach-themed paper, so this'll do just fine to start.

  • 40" x 55" 1998 commercial:

  • Finally found and picked up this Sicario character poster of Emily Blunt...

  • Ended up finding this re-release at a very low price.  Not an original release, but it will do for now to fill in my Astaire/Rogers lobby effort.  7 down, 1 to go.

  • On Re-releases, nice to uncover a 60's within a pile of 70's RR Snow White.

    What luck!

I’ve got a pile of posters that I haven’t posted.  Here is an Aussie OS for Star Trek which I think is brilliant compared to the US version.  It is symmetrical without the text block and no off centered tag line.

  • Nice Snow White.

And yes, brilliant and clean Star Trek!

very nice.  I love it when you get more than you expected.
  • I'm guessing backing this beauty will risk the Producer snipe coming off?

  • Likely so. I'm fairly sure Charlie has mentioned before that the glue used for most snipes is water based. I've never had the opportunity to remove one so not 100% sure.

I thought that'd be the case mate, a pity to lose the snipe, plus it'll likely leave a mess underneath. May have to leave 'as is'.
  • Dang, great stuff this month!

Had this one up for years, its charm finally wearing thin:

So I paid retail for another oddish fun one, Wide Open Faces (1945rr US 1S SSF):

Are those the exact same poster? They seem so "different".
