Montone & Duotone Posters - So Ugly They Are Collectable!
in Australian
Perhaps some of the worst movie poster art you have ever seen, so ugly only a mother could love them yet they are collectible in their own right. Show me yours, I'll show you mine
ONLY Montone and Duotones please - don't forget to name them, we might not recognise the movie otherwise!

Gunfighters of Abilene 1959
I'm assuming a 60's re-release? Or could this be another example of a first release duotone?
I recently wrote some information regarding United Artists duotone printed Australian daybill posters from the late 1950's and into the mid 1960's. If anyone hasn't read this thread titled '' Missing 1950's and 1960's Horror and Sc-fi daybill images'', I recommend that they take a look at it. The above Gunfighters of Abilene falls into this category that I talked about. This film was a 'B' grade film running a brief 66 minutes only, and it wasn't re-released in Australia, leaving this poster without any printer's credits appearing on it, printed sometime during it's release in Australia circa 1960. It was either a second printing or a duotone printed first release poster. My thinking is that there was possibly another daybill version printed before this one, in some form of colour with a more detailed design and a printer's credit appearing on the poster.
You gotta stop hoarding posters old man. lol.
Also the US OS weren't that great, so hope that if another daybill exists it would have more appealing artwork.
