I may have put this in the wrong place... but let's try again.

This is ed from LAMP. We have an exhibit coming up and I'm looking for some posters. If anyone has anything on any of these titles available at a reasonable price, it can be any size or any country, I'm interested. Here's the beginning list (more coming).

  • Hi Ed, Where's the exhibit going to be held?  I'm not far from New Orleans, if there. I don't have the posters you seek this time. I'd be happy to help with future exhibits from my collection, and have spoken at/hosted a few exhibits in the past, if I could be of service. My best, Okie
  • Hi Okie, Thanks for your reply. The exhibit is scheduled January 8-29 in Slidell. The city is trying to kick off a new annual Louisiana Film Industry Expo and we're providing the exhibit called 50 Shades of Louisiana highlighting posters from films made around the state. We're looking to fill in on some newer titles to add to our collection (even though we're always looking for La. titles).
We did an exhibit 2 years ago there just as the pandemic hit -

Hi Ed, Off the top of my head, I have the 1941 title card for Swamp Woman with Ann Corio, if you can use it?  And, the Thai 1982 Cat People. Okie
  • Wow.. I have the os and some lobbies for Swamp Woman, but not the title card and for Cat People, we have it in 6 languages but not Thai... so you picked some great ones. Are they for sale?  ed
  • Greetings all. Thank you for all the great responses. We have now purchased all the pieces that we need for this exhibit. Of course, we are always looking for other pieces from Louisiana films that we don't have.

    Best,
    ed

  • Hi Ed, Happy to loan them for the Slidell exhibit, if you want. I may have some others from LA, though do you happen to have a listing of all older movies with LA connections? What about movies that supposedly took place in LA, but weren't really filmed there (e.g. Son of Dracula)?  My best, Okie
