Re: Rockabilly's poster collection
Thank you, kind sir. Give yourself more credit. I learned some of my self-depreciation skills from you!
Re: Rockabilly's poster collection
Oy vey. The rock-o-billy schlemiel is back with the usual load of bupkis. Okay, enough Yiddish appropriation for one post. I urge you at this point to divert your attention to another thread that will certainly be more visually rewarding, such as MAGG's, the better, more superior Matt, Ves, Mr Paisley - anyone! Having delivered my warning disclaimer, here goes. As always, sorry about the quality and/or size of the listing appropriated pics.
I have another copy of this, but this one was el cheapo, and may help to fund something in the future:

Yep, huge. Sorry. Moving on, I have a daybill for this title that Ves was kind enough to gift to me about a hundred years ago, and I also have a ginormous French poster for it as well. Now I have a 1 sheet too:

Eons ago I had this 1 sheet, and sold it somewhere along the way. Now I have purchased it again:

And lastly, a poster that has zero to do with movies, but that's never stopped me in the past from posting drivel like this:

I thought it might go well with a couple posters I already had, shown here in ill-fitting frames:

That's it. Yep, I duped you into clicking on this thread for this selection (insert maniacal but sympathetic laughter here). Things are pretty slow in the poster buyin' biz here at the rock-o-headquarters. Keep an eye out for an equally exciting update to my what's on the walls/framing stuff thread.

Re: A Do You Know Your Classic Movies Quiz.
C172 answer revealed.

I had thought that the very young teenage Diana Dors, as the appeared in David Lean's Oliver Twist from 1948, would be recognised.

After she became a a platinum blonde is how she will be mostly remembered.
