Hello everyone. I am a new member, signing in from Melbourne, Australia. Thanks to Charlie for inviting me to join up.
After googling for information on how to remove (40 YO) sticky tape from an old poster, I discovered this forum. I had no idea it existed!
I had great success with the tape removal after reading the thread. Well done to the contributors there.
I have been collecting original movie posters on and off since 1980, so not many posters pre 1970, though do love old films.
Finally got to build a dedicated home theatre in retirement and now spend many hours enjoying the big screen at home.

i have a Daughter of Rosie DB but it won't seem to post. I also have Oklahoma but searched and not sure where it is stored

An additional musical film is Charley Moon ( 1956 ). This is an obscure British musical that wasn't released theatrically in Australia, Apparently by all the film wasn't very good

THE MISSING 1950'S MUSICAL FILM GENRE AUSTRALIAN DAYBILL LIST OF TITLES.
Released in Australia film titles without any daybill images being located. This research was very extensive, but on saying that is is possible there could be other titles not located, but I am fairly confident that my list is near complete, if not complete for U.S. and U.K. films released films.

Two more obscure musical films that I discovered were never released in Australia, but didn't qualify to be included in the above listings have the following images that I thought may interest you. Climb Up The Wall and Girls From The Latin Quarter were both released in the U.K. in 1960,
