    First Release

    Italian 2-Fogli | ~39"x55"
Via the Christopher Frayling featurette per clinteastwood.org Member KC - "Not only does Frayling point out that it was the original Italian poster image ... it was used in the very first newspaper advertisement for Fistful, when the film had its premiere in Florence in August 1964. He also mentions that it was taboo to have the gunfighter, presumably the hero, pointing his gun at the viewer. In his Sergio Leone biography (p. 160), he adds the further detail that the poster was designed by Sandro Simeoni."  This image shows up in both the 4-fogli and locandina but is reused in many re-release locandina printings.

  • Not including any of the screenprint posters over the past few years?

  • I wasn't but let's do that...  I am not that into them.  Can you list them?  I have the GBU set but that is it.  And I guess there it that one with the watch from FAFDM?

    That is the nicest set.

Will see what I have at home tonight.

  • the Alamo Drafthouse Roadshow Release from 2008

    Regular Version

    Variant Version

  • Not really...the last one though, with the two from FAFDM and GBU actually don't look too bad as a set :)
