Ya it sure is Japanese. "Uchû daikaijû Girara" (the literal translation is: Big Space Monster Girara) The poster above is a French Grande done by Boris Belinsky
AKA The X From Outer Space in the U.S. and many other names like the German title is "Guila - Frankensteins Teufelsei"
Hey Matt... well the lenticularitus has flared up only a couple times recently. but it was cured by a heavy dosage of about ten or so OS lents. no more bus shelters lents unless the disease gets the best of me lol.
oh maybe you will like this: had this commissioned and its fucking awesome! Hand drawn in charcoal
Just dug this out of my poster room & photo'd it. I used to collect US Buffalo Nickels before my poster obsession took over. Had this drawn from one of my pieces. Not nearly as nice as the Frankenstein, but I like it!
Matt: Good Stuff heh? he even captured the brushstokes on the lettering. pics dont do it justice. looks familiar right? I have prints too and AP's
Mark: Man I used to be heavy into coins. He really captured the Indian head. not even a nick on the upper cheek.. thats a Gem
Erase one of the legs and it will dramatically increase in value HA! Thanks for photographing that. I still have a small core collection. I guess my Large Cent with full original luster is my favorite one now. I better stop talking about what I dont have now or I will be back on ebay browsing soon. that could be trouble.
Thanks Jedge. I need to get It framed in an old wood frame one of these days. Yeah, the 3-legged 1937 brings some extra $!
I always liked the red color/tones of the large Cents. I still have a few slabbed coins, and some Silver Certificates, but yes, i get the itch to buy again as well!
What a difference a Country's poster artist can make. The Australian daybill was originally submitted for classification with the Australian Censor in 1971 by the applicant Wallis Drive-In Theatres who operated in South Australia at the time. The film was released in cinemas in Australia according to the daybill by Regent. Although the daybill pales in comparison against the French poster it is nevertheless a poster not often seen but Pancho may have one . ''Filmed in a Galaxy of Colours'' is beautifully depicted on the daybill ( ha ha ). Seriously though a very nice French poster Jedge.
The seller had it listed a a Spanish poster (listing title had it spelled incorrectly too) and the auction was ending right when I first saw it so I bought it on a whim cuz it was so cool. At the time I didnt even know if it was even legit. Dario are ya busy? :

You should ask the seller for other titles. I believe Black Swan had a different design in Brazil...
