Re-release over First release posters
Mark's Cabaret got me thinking.
I've always thought the posters for the original release of Cabaret left a bit to be desired, except the Czech which I think is great.
But I much prefer the Re-release to the original, anyone else have any that fit in this category?

The Australian 1952 re-release RKO daybill. The Australian 1947 original United Artists release daybill.
My all time favorite re-release poster, that in my opinion leaves the original in it's wake, is the re-release RKO The Outlaw daybill, with it's sexy pose and the magnificent colour.
Keeping the theme Jane Russell...
Here's the original 1948 The Paleface. Of which I own.
If given the choice, not sure I'd take the Hirschfeld re-release. Of which I don't own...Great artwork and certainly more expensive! Thoughts?...
The red on yellow is so garish, I certainly wouldn't pay more for it than the original.
1st release...
Rerelease...
At Work. Can't SEE!
How weird...now I can SEE!
Hmm, toughie...need to think on it.
The Texas Rangers 1940's re-release daybill on the left and the original 1936 Australian release long daybill. Both beautiful but I slightly lean towards the re-release in preference. Anyone agree?
