For sale is a Original King Kong 1942 dated One sheet 27"x41" movie poster.   This poster is on fine linen and i am asking $1800 obo.  Payment will be Cashiers Check or Money Order. Shipping will be through Fedex with Insurance included.

    When this showed up on APF the other day, someone pointed out that the images came from Heritage and not the actual poster.  When pressed for details, the OP quickly disappeared and has now surfaced here.

    Be very careful folks.  I wouldn't touch it without much better documentation and a more realistic price.  But it does kind of amaze me that the guy is trying to sell it to knowledgable collectors.

    I'm always suss of clean cut photos with no background of someone's carpet, floorboards or table. That says to me, no proof of ownership or existence.

    That's where all forums do their best work, informing all, of potential scallywags.
