Rare and unusual posters that are not wall worthy.

Let's see posters that you'd never fork out the kinda dough that's just too over the top for your liking.

  • I'm sorry, but this recent sale at EMP at $4699 is too much for me.

It's eyes would just follow you round in the room. It's just too creepy!

  • Definitely not my cuppa tea, but I understand that it is for some. Cripes, I could pick up quite a few posters on the want list with $4700.   :o

I I do agree with you on this one, Matt. I’m sure it’s rare, and is unique, but that’s too much that’d I’d pay.
  • Every Universal horror poster ever printed.
  • I tried to post an image here, both by linking and by uploading from my computer (both ways that have worked before). Both ways I got a message that "You don't have permission to do that". How do I get permission?

Kinda-maybe... I just like to throw rocks at tanks sometimes.
  • Bruce is right, I've noticed on some threads there is no inserting an image, only the image URL option.

It happens on a reasonable number of threads that this is the case.

  • Yep. We really don’t want to keep uploading photos because we are not sure of our data limit.  It’s a mixed bag, so if you are lucky to find a thread that allows you to insert then so be it.

For some reason it will no longer allow me to add image links from my phone, however it does allow it if I use a PC.
  • It’s a setting in the backend by category...  I’ll go back and set all to url when I find the time.

Because there are three owners who pay for the site and none of them is called Zuckerburg, donate to the cause or use a free photo hosting service.

OR if the image is hosted already on the internet, right click the image, click 'Copy Image', then come in here and right click/paste.

I guess I did NOT make myself clear, David. I DID do the above, and still got the "You don't have permission to do that" message. I ALSO tried uploading it, and that got the same message. I will try again now.

No explanation needed why I would not display this on my wall

  • And now I apparently DO have "permission", because it posted fine!

My message was not directed at you because I already know you basically provide everyone here a free image posting service to this forum out of your own pocket.

I knew that. But it still mystifies me why sometimes I can post an outside image here (in the way you recommend) and other times I can't.

And I am happy to let all you guys share any of our images here all you want!

    Thanks for a cool forum.

    .

Try standing on one leg, tongue out, squint with one eye, bend over slightly and yell, "come on spinner!"

    Works for me.
