All done with shopping, but still waiting for 2 packages in the mail. If they don't show, they'll make fine after Christmas presents.
With regards to the Santa thing, I agree with the (apparently reluctant) opinion of Francis P Church, who penned the response to Virginia O'Hanlon in The Sun newspaper in 1897. I'm totally down with St. Nick.
Oh shit... I was just checking out the new Daybill auctions and realized I moved the phone back so I could read. Then realized I’ve been doing this a lot - getting older I guess. Time to get the old eyes checked.
Here in Arizona It’s been colder than a ....we’ll never mind....
43 F right now with a low of 36 tonight. Has slowed down my backing lately....oh, Daybills not really interested....
Charlie, been using readers for years....so much fun....
Today in East Tennessee it’s 53F with a supposed high of 62, and a low of 39. Not sure what it’s doing now, but when I drove to work this morning at 4, it was raining. I’m pretty sure it’s rained for about 3 days now. Ugh.
Do you get much lake effect weather in brew town, or does it mostly travel west to east?
Mostly it moves West to East. I live about 1/4 mile off the lake though, so I do get lake effect. However it tends to be good thing most of the time. Warmer winter temps, and cooler summer ones.
That’s good to hear. I’m a native Michigander, but from the east side. No lake effect weather over there, except as you mentioned, there’s probably some very close to Lake Huron. The Mrs, however, is from Grand Rapids - pretty much right across the lake from you, and they get LOTS of lake effect winter weather. (insert cackling laughter here)
So i asked the seller to ship the poster between thick cardboard and it arrived in a flat 920 gram value pack of kellogs corn flakes box within a plastic satchel...ummmmmm

First Christmas where our baby knows there is no Santa:

Definitely a very rare long daybill printing on this one!
