The Man From Laramie from 1955 was directed by Anthony Mann who directed some well regarded low budget film noir films in the 1940's. He was also most likely best remembered for directing ten well regarded westerns in the 1950's, including Devil's Doorway ( 1950 ) a little known film which I like very much.
