One of two scenes from the film that take place on a float that one remembers.
A plane flies too low numerous times over a man on a float. This ends up with the plane accidentally lopping off the upper half of the man's body. It certainly is an unexpected and confronting scene when viewed..
Less confronting is Paula Prentiss getting back to nature.

I feel like I know 27 but I just cannot put my finger on it.
Some hopefully extra assistance is that the film is set in the deep south of the US.A. One of the stars of the film had concerns for his life during some location filming.
Correct, and I had you in mind when I decided to include this image here Sven. With you being a James Stewart fan I had thought that you would have known this one, and as it turns out you did. The Man From Laramie from 1955 was directed by Anthony Mann who directed some well regarded low budget film noir films in the 1940's. He was also most likely best remembered for directing ten well regarded westerns in the 1950's, including Devil's Doorway ( 1950 ) a little known film which I like very much.

Thanks for thinking of me 😀 The Blu Ray is a stunning presentation of this movie. Have not watched Devils Doorway so will have to watch
C31 The Vikings? It had a very memorable one-eyed character!

C34. The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming
Correct. The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming from 1966.
This film entry reminded me of an very interesting earlier thread that was started here on the forum in June 2020. If this film is of interest to you this thread is worthwhile looking at it for the first time, or even again if if you had originally read it. Clue for C27 is a major happening that wasn't present in the original novel takes place nearby in this area.
Clue for C28 is a western film starring one of the greatest female movie stars of the golden years of Hollywood is in this film.
Correct. Johnny Guitar from 1954. Another western movie that I like.
Three more images that I am thinking can be answered without the assistant of any clues.
A clue for C31 is that the above person in the image is the hero, and not the one eyed villain.
