September 2022

I'm sneaking it in here!  Can't believe none of us posted a September purchase.

Had a craptastic two weeks, these put a smile on my dial.

MASSIVE thanks to Matias, she wouldn't be home without you.  I love you sooooo much!

:) Two great poster acquisitions Ves So pleased that you have The Blonde Captive poster added to to your collection..
  • Stunning paper, girl!
  • Amen to that, mister! Wowie!!! Congrats, Ves!!
  • The blonde captive art was made by spanish painter and comic book artist Fernando Piñana. According to his daughter:

“My father came to paint several hundred movie posters for all the major film distributors in Spain such as Warner, Metro Goldwin Mayer, Universal, Columbia, United Artists... He also painted numerous cinema facades in Barcelona. Almost a hundred photographs of this work are in the Film Library of Catalonia located in Barcelona. His workshop was on top of the Principal Theater, in the Barcelona neighborhood of Gracia. He also worked at home”

Here's some more info. Page is in spanish, but will go fine through an online translator:
