  • I loved the original 3 books. They would make a great mini-series!

Speaking of which I am half-way through Shogun on Hulu, and I highly recommend it.

  •  C467  C468
A couple of new images that are connected in a number of ways,
  •  I had thought that the above images would be easily recognised. Two well known films in question here. Clues are one of the films from the 1950s and the other from the 1960s.

For both CA67 and C468 an additional and final clue is pirates.
  • Could c468 be the 1950 Treasure Island?  Seems like a different parrot though
  • 467 Swiss Family Robinson

Wasn't really a guess.  I keyed on Long John Silver and parrot right off.  It's just that most of the images online show a more common green parrot, instead of a blue one.  I guess it is artistic freedom when colorizing lobbies and drawing poster art.
  •  C469  C470
Two more images from well known films made many decades apart.

Yes it was a regular practice when they used to colourise film poster art.
  • 470.  The Day of the Jackal...other half loves this film!
  • 470.  The Day of the Jackal...other half loves this film!
Correct. The Day Of The Jackel from 1973. I do agree it is a great film.

  • For image C469 I have really delved back into the very distant past for this one.  A clue is a memorable villain.
  • Another clue is the last words spoken during a memorable death scene.
  • After a process of elimination, Little Caesar
  • After a process of elimination, Little Caesar

  •  C471 C472
A couple of more images from well known films to have a think about.

  • Unfortunately I am a little short on suitable clues at this time to present here for C472.
  • C472 - Stuart Little? The cat was a clue.

  • C472 - Stuart Little? The cat was a clue.
Correct. My Unfortunately I am a little short on suitable clues at this time to present here for C472 had the word little intentionally added as a clue also.

    Peter

Two more images to test your knowledge, or ability to answer the identity of the films,
  • A clue for C473 is based on a true story.

A clue for C474 is memorable music.

C474.  A vague memory, a hunch and much searching...
    Deliverance (1972)

    And yes, the clue helped.
