Creases on Glossy

I'm trying to figure out a way to make glossy posters like new (e.g. take out ripples, take out corner dings, etc) and I ordered a hand-crank press to take out creases. Is there any way I can get modern glossy posters in Like New cond or is it a fools errand? Are there any techniques I can try with a hand crank press?

It's something like this:

  • Once the ink on newer glossy posters is creased/cracked, it will always remain that way.  You can flatten under weight, but never remove the damage.  Usually cheaper to buy a replacement
  • The only possible way is to get a heat press or heated vacuum press (full size of a one sheet). But this will only take out non-breaking issues. It also may take a couple tries and or humidifying the poster for 24hrs plus.

    Like comic book pressing.

Hi Charlie, can you explain this a little more?

I have a t-shirt press, it goes up to 300 degrees, which is undoubtedly too hot. But I wonder if I tone it down if it would have any effect...
