O.k. let's run with Sunday then. In the meantime for others a couple of clues that hopefully will assist.

A clue for C608 is had a huge hit title song of the same name.
A clue for C609 is short film.
  • Hmmm, don't think my guess for C608 will be right then, I'll answer 609 later today if no one else does.

    Peter
  • C609 - The Music Box (1932), classic Laurel and Hardy (remake of the now lost "Hats Off").

If no one else answers C608 tomorrow I'll hazard a guess, although I think I'm wrong.

    Peter
  • Is 608 Georgy Girl? Hint helped

Correct and well done. A very funny film. I saw it when I programmed it at the film society that I was involved with many years ago. Two other Laurel and Hardy short films Liberty (1929) and The Battle Of The Century (1927), along with a number of Buster Keaton, Charles Chaplin , D.W. Griffith and other notable short films that were mainly silent titles were screened including the well known  The Great Train Robbery from 1903..

Yes C608 is indeed Georgy Girl from 1966. Lynn Redgrave appearing in the image.

  • So much for me thinking it might have been Rosemary's Baby!    >:)

These two images I am thinking shouldn't present a problem in one being able to provide the answers for them.
  • I am 99% sure C611 is Robert Altman's Nashville. I loved most of the movie, and thought two of the songs ("I'm Easy" and "200 Years") were among the best original songs EVER in any movie.

Here is a handy checklist to help tell eMoviePoster.com apart from all other major auctions!
HAS lifetime guarantees on every item - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS unrestored and unenhanced images - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS 100% honest condition descriptions - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS auctions where the winner is the higher of two real bidders - IS eMoviePoster.com
HAS "buyers premiums" - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "reserves or starts over $1 - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS hidden bidder IDs - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS no customer service to speak of - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS "nosebleed" shipping charges - NOT eMoviePoster.com
HAS inadequate packaging - NOT eMoviePoster.com

  • That's what I would have said too.

Correct. Nashville from 1975. Ronee Blakley as Barbaea Jean seen in the posted image..
That's what I would have said too.
    Good work also.

Correct and well done. Night And The City from 1950.
The previously pictured Googie Withers was the Australian connection clue.  A great recommended Jules Dassin film noir classic film.

A final C613 clue is a controversial film director.
  • Is 613 Paths of Glory (1957)?

    Peter
  • Is 613 Paths of Glory (1957)?
Thanks for having a guess, but it isn't Paths Of Glory.

  • Too difficult to answer it does appear, so I will now reveal the answer for C613 to be the Elia Kazan directed  Man On A Tightrope from 1953.

Loosely based on real incidents involving the Brumbach Circus, which escaped from communist controlled East Germany to West Germany in 1950.

  • I thought C614  would be difficult, but on the other hand that C615 would have been easily recognised.
  • C614 looks so familiar but I just can't find it.

    Peter
  • A clue for both C614 and C615 is gambling involvement.

  • The following are clues for some later television adaptations of the above films in question.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      C614  C615
