I generally like to give people multiple chances, etc., etc.... Well, I guess ol' Mel wanted to exact some revenge on me...

He e-mails me up and offers me a Lady Has Plans OS (Goddard) since he has doubles for a possible trade before he consigns it. He just bought a LB copy from EMP for $80. He must know I like Goddard (which I do) or why offer it up. So I offer him a few posters, ask for what he is looking for etc... First offer was not enough, I agree offer up a couple more decent posters.
Well after only a few days - figuring out a trade is too hard. He tells me he will just consign it.
I offer him up $40 cash which is basically what he would get from consignment (35% fee) - no hassle, waiting etc...
This morning, he emails me back that he is now auctioning it off for charity. WTF? Tells me I can grab it if I want it. $99 BIN + $10 shipping. 100% going to some wildlife fund.
What a pal?!?! He would rather give the poster away, than take a few posters in trade or cash from a fellow collector who wants the poster.
