Correct. House Of The Damned ( 1963 ) with an appearance of Richard Kiel as the giant. Better film than given credit for. Mark are you collecting all of Maury Dexter's work ? 

Starting with his mystery / thriller / sci-fi stuff - not too fussed about Westerns.

Thought this may have been the case. The reason I had asked was I had submitted a thread previously titled The Purple Hills daybill  and with the film being directed by Maury Dexter and the possibility you hadn't seen it you may have been interested in having a look at it. But as the film is a western there would be no need to do so now .
