Lord Of the Flies daybill - is this it ?

Lord of The Flies ( 1963 ).  For my research I am wondering if this the only daybill printed for this film. If anyone has seen another style daybill design or a different style Australian one sheet please let me know ?

    Loved this book.
  • I've never seen that one before...gees, I hope there is a nicer one out there!
  • Thanks Ves. The poster printed without the Australian classification is only slightly more appealing, if one could say that.
  • Is this the image that was shared earlier (PB obviously destroyed this thread nicely)?

  • Here is another version. You would think the original would be full colour.....

This one appears to be a second printing. The image of the poster from Chris would have been the original release Australian poster. I had also previously thought there had to be a full colour version out there somewhere. I have since changed my mind and I believe that the red, black and white image Chris posted earlier would be the original first release Australian version. I am basing this on the original country of origin U.K. one sheet poster had a very similar design, but only slightly different in that the U.K. poster had a pig's head empaled on a stick ( probably frowned upon by the Australian censor ), and instead of red, black and white on the oz version the U.K one was red, black and yellow. British Empire Films would have sourced all there artwork from the U.K. seeing the film was British, along with the distributor British Lion Film Corporation.
