Your Favourite Christmas Movie Poster

Post your favourite movie and its poster for this favourite seasonal genre (include image, title (and year), and poster type). Movie must have a recognised Christmas and/or holiday season theme - just because you watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre every Christmas doesn't technically make it a Christmas/Holiday Season movie.

In a week or so Admin will narrow the list down to 10 for a worldwide vote off for the favourite Christmas/Holiday Season movie poster of all time!

  • The Santa Clause (1986) - US1SH Advance

My kids used to think Tim Allen and me were alike (the clumsy toolman part), this was a bit of a fav at Christmas as a result.

  • Home Improvement was one of my favourite shows.
  • Silent Night Deadly Night, with Santa and his axe going down the chimney
  • Can we post more than one?

It's a Wonderful Life (1946) US Half Sheet

    * it was Stewert's first movie after his service in WWII, in which he flew over 25 bombing missions leading B-24 Liberators over Germany. The experience had of course changed him. He wanted more serious, challenging, gritty characters to portray. Capra gave him the chance and they created a masterpiece. IMO it is in his top three roles.

  • One of the all time Classics Mark, I love the film, and it's a must every year for me.

I alternate between the B&W and Colourised versions, and I usually hate the coloured versions, but it works with this film..

You could always just hotlink it from elsewhere.
  • The Night before Christmas 1941

  • It's A Wonderful Life ( 1946 ). My favourite film at Christmas. Same US half sheet and Mark's image borrowed, which is my favourite poster of the film as well.

Great choices!  I have a soft spot for this poster. Not a film per se but hey, it is Christmas.

  • Nice poster Rosa - you'd could easily put that one up as annual decoration each year.
  • Agree David, Bruce sold one a while ago and it has stayed with me ever since. Probably will try to get one next time. Wish me luck!

  • Oh I love that Scrooge!  I couldn't find a nice poster for that movie...winner in my books Paul!
  • Nightmare before Christmas is really a halloween movie in spite of the title.  Love the film though.

    I'll add this one:

  • A Christmas Story (1983) - Daybill

  • The original Miracle on 34th Street, but I am yet to see a poster for this film I actually like...

I know where - it's above the radiator.
  • Great Christmas decorations Paul. Cant beat a good poster!
  • So, went with these two this year...

This was the Original UK title for Miracle on 34th St...

And I always like this one up somewhere...

  • The Big Heart is...well...awesome!!! :plus_one:
  • Love The Big Heart too. A question to Paul. The logo that appears on the poster , just under the bottom of the sleigh, has what written on it?
