The Daltons Ride Again ... And Again... And Again... And Again

The Daltons Ride Again ( 1945 ) original U.S.A. title lobby card and the original Australian daybill.

Forty Thousand Horsemen ( 1940 ), Kansas Raiders ( 1950 ) and Border River ( 1954 ) Universal / Universal - International stock posters. The stock poster adapted the original The Daltons Ride Again artwork that was used on the title lobby card, and also the U.S. half sheet as well. The Forty Thousand Horsemen stock daybill would have been printed sometime around or after March 1946 when The Daltons Ride Again was released in Australia and before Universal became Universal-International in 1946. This has to date the Forty Thousand Horseman daybill as being a 1946 printing. The stock poster was used again in the 1950's for Kansas Raiders and Border River second printings. The Kansas Raiders daybill image is always credited incorrectly as being an original release poster. The original Australian daybill, yet unsited, would most likely look something like the following U.S.A. insert and the Australian one sheet.

Does anyone have any other examples of the Universal western stock poster ?

Maybe ... maybe not. For my enjoyment mainly, but it did have a purpose. Interpretation is left to the individual person that reads it.
