The Hustler ( 1961 ) Australian Poster Variations.
The Hustler ( 1961 ) original U.S.A. one sheet, Australian one sheet, daybill and 3 sheet. Three different Australian designs less sexy than depicted on the U.S. poster. Interestingly on the daybill and the one sheet Paul Newman is seen wearing a shirt and Piper Laurie is depicted a little more covered up. The three sheet has a different tagline than the other three and also the only poster with an image that indicates pool is played in the film. Another interesting thing is that on the Australian daybill Paul is shown with casts on his arm and hands, which is something I haven't been able to locate on any other posters.
