    Yup. And sexy as hell.

Except the 20th Century Fox logo is different   =)

Does it have stars under it? And how many? :)

    That's RKO with the stars.

I was attempting to make a joke (obviously without success)!

  • Sorry - it's late at night here and I'm tired. Yes amusing.
  • Definitely two stars on it.
  • Gone with the wind long daybill loaded into HAs sig auction.
  • Interesting.

Slightly technical here, but it is called 'Pre-War', does the Heritage know pre-war would be before 1939 for the rest of us?
  • Missed this one on the first run through...anyone taking bets?

  • Yeah, I bet I won't be able to afford it ;)
  • US$2650..... shit I don't know. It's just a bet.
  • On fire...
  • Could hold the answer to Robin Hood! Good to see appreciation of aussie paper in the late 70s. Wonder if judith was a collector?

You'd like to think so, but it's only 58 pages, so even after all the publishing credits, the forward from the author, the introduction, the credits and references you might be lucky to get 50 pages which is roughly 1 page per year. I suspect old Robin will remain a mystery at this stage.
  • No Robin Hood in that book, I'm afraid.
  • There are 24 movies covered in the book and Robin Hood ain't one of them.
  • 24?!
  • It only has movies made in Australia, so it couldn't have Robin Hood

    in the description it says:

"...One was recently auctioned from another auction, and it reportedly sold for $5,497!"

    "reportedly"?

    adverb
    1. according to what some say (used to express the speaker's belief that the information given is not necessarily true).
  • I have no way of verifying what sold at any auction other than my own.

So I can't say One was recently auctioned from another auction, and it sold for $5,497!" because that sale may or may not have occurred.

If you (or someone here) bought it, and have paid for it and received it, just say the word and I will revise the auction.

USD$2.5K - well, now we know there is at least three of them out there.
  • Results are in, here's just a few of what caught my eye

Girl on a Motorcycle (1968) Quad
    US$3600

Sweet poster - I hope that Paul shows us the other version.
    So I can drool, bitch.
    Please.

    -------------------------------------

La Dolce Vita (1960) French 1P
    USD$635

    Consistently increasing in price.

    -------------------------------------

Samson and Delilah (1949) - English Door Panel
    USD$530

I like this for the unusual. Good price? No idea.

    -------------------------------------

    Ambassador's Daughter (1956) - Locandina
    USD$12

Cute poster, at $12 how could you go wrong?

    -------------------------------------

    Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) - US 1 Sheet
    USD$4,777

    Consistent. Consistent. Consistent.
And I still don't own one. Grrr

  • And NO buyers premiums...

We only actually know of three, who is owning up to the others...?  ;)

Well IMHO: probably more in line with what we would expect but as it's not a title I am chasing better to ask someone who wants it for their collection...
