Mar del Plata International Film Festival :)

Not working on right now, but I have been in the last weeks.
Just a few days ago I returned from the Mar del Plata International Film Festival. Smile
Got there as a guest, as I had collaborated in an exhibition about the 60th anniversary of the festival. My poster for the first edition (in 1954) was there, along other posters for films that were shown in past editions, from the collection of a good friend. First time I go to a festival, had a great time.

  • Lovely thing to see posters framed.

That Rivers of Blood is a great looking poster.

Did the exhibition frame them or were they supplied framed.

  • We sent them to be framed and the people from the exhibition paid for the frames.
River of blood does look great. It was made by Venturi in his greatest moment...
  • Bonus! You get back a framed poster!
  • Really nice. Some great looking posters there and a great story, congrats on what sounded like a great time...and meeting Paul Schrader. His book Transcendental Style in Film: Ozu, Bresson, Dreyer has long been of my favorite books on film.

  • Great stuff Matias!
