Great graphics! And restoration! Hey, I'm not too familiar with Australian posters, but the artwork on OS's & Daybills seems to be very consistent in type in the 40's-60's. Was this something mandated by the film industry/distribution/gov't? Any ideas why?

The government did censor a lot of the artwork but the consistency is mainly due to only a few printing companies being active during that time period
Thanks CSM- That makes sense. I have a book on MGM posters & they employed a team of artists do much of the work on their posters. Am guessing the artists would change over the decades but the consistency would be there. Kinda like Harley J. Earl and his designs at GM and Cadillacs in the 50s.

The stains are

Resurrected from the dead. The paper was extremely brittle, with water stains and vinyl imprinted on the back. Who do you trust......
