#28 is 1950s. The male star worked at Warner Brothers in the 1940s.

    # 30 is also 1950s. Stars a former western star.

    # 35 is 1940s and is British. This film has been compared by some to the type of film ................................ directed.

    # 36 is 1950s. Made in Britain by a major Hollywood film company.

    # 38 is 1950s again. America now but not then.

  • 35 - Take my life
  • 35 - Take my life

Correct. Take My life ( 1947 ) is well worth seeking out for anyone who hasn't seen it. Alfred Hitchcock was the missing director's name.
  • 28 - The Man Is Armed
  • 36 - The Hour of 13

I can't find anything for 38, so I am out...

  • 30 - Dial Red O
28 - The Man Is Armed
Both correct . # 30 is Dial Red O  from 1955 and The Man Is Armed is from 1956.
  • 36 - The Hour of 13

I can't find anything for 38, so I am out...

    # 36 is indeed The Hour Of 13 ( 1952 ).

Let's clear the slate so we can start afresh. The answer to # 38 is Hell's Half acre ( 1954 ) which was admittably a hard one to solve. Did you like my clue though ?

    39 is Bunco Squad...

It was a good hour or so of searching...I am terrible with some of these things, but many of the noir and sci esp. images stick in your mind if you are a daybill collector.

I've never seen some of the last few you posted before, so it was fun to see many perty new daybills.

  • Bunco Squad ( 1950 ) is correct. I am glad you had fun and got to see some new daybills. Just a reminder to check if you have an daybill image of Moonrise to share.
