Yes, there were two sizes, the smaller one with no image. We have auctioned a number of each. Everyone agrees they were used in drive-ins only.
It seems that around 90% to 99% of the ones known come from one amazing find of thousands of them, which was sold to the store Cinema Collectors, owned by the late (and infamous) Joe Martinez (aka Joe Mass).

Oooooh, love 'em! I have the aluminum frame sections for mine, but still no plexi, so no framed ones here yet. Here's the pics of mine. My Bombardier matches your Joe Kidd.
Hi Everyone! Bruce, this 24”x 82” frame with the 2.5” Wide Cinema Border was $195.95 free shipping. This was my first purchase from Spotlight Displays and the frame is superb! I must also add that the customer service is A1! I’m cueing up for a 3 Sheet frame for my next order.

I noticed the other day that there was a second version of WWC measuring 24 x 60 smaller than the version I have on the wall. (24 x 82).
Is this common? Why would they have made a smaller version?
So were US banners predominantly used at drive ins? As there surely aren't enough out there to have seen General theatre use?
