Yes indeed it is Mae Clarke from Lady Killer ( 1933 ).
Some other notable films that Mae Clarke appeared in were Public Enemy, Frankenstein and Waterloo Bridge that were all released in 1931. This year was indeed a very big year for her.
To finish this one, yyyy is a very young Jessica Tandy. The photos I find say it's from 1943, but I can't find any role from that period that would match her outfit. I am thinking it is a publicity shot from a London stage role

Correct and well spotted and summed up. Jessica first appeared on the London stage at the age of 18 in 1927. She continuued to perform there throughout the 1930s. I am convinced that the image is incorrectly credited as being taklen in 1943. I am thinking it was taken during the run of a London stage production in the 1930s, and perhaps possibly in one of the Shakesperean plays that she appeared in, but I really cannot say this for sure and this is purely my thoughts.
Jessica by 1942 had just remarried and was now living and working in the USA, and there isn't any record of her performing in a Broadway production in 1943.

( National Library Of Australia )
Jessica Tandy was married twice, and both times to actors. Her first marriage was to Jack Hawkins ( 1932 - 1940 ) then to Hume Cronyn ( 1942 -1994 when he passed away ).
The Birds ( 1963 ) and Driving Miss Daisy ( 1989 ), for which she won a best actress Academy Award Oscar for best actress at the age of 81.
Hondo, Another swing, is A5 the incredible Rachel Ward? Okie
Well spotted, and it certainly is the lovely Rachel Ward, who is the wife of Australian actor Bryan Brown. The film in question is Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid ( 1982 ), seen below with Steve Martin. .
A4 Patrica Hitchcock in Strangers on a Train (1951) Alfred's only daughter.
Correct. I didn't have to end up by supplying the famous father clue that I was holding in reserve, just in case the answer wasn't forthcoming. Patricia ( "' Pat '' ) Hitchcock I thought was excellent in Strangers On A Train. She appears above in a scene with Farley Granger.
Weird. not sure why the font grew with each guess?!
Okie
Two out of three correct guesses again Okie is an excellent result. Talia Shire and Rita Moreno were correct, but the one actress that I thought would turn out to be the hardest to identify isn't Joanne Woodward.
Talia Shire seen here with Burgess Meredith in a scene from Rocky 111 ( 1982 ).
So Young, So Bad ( 1950 ). This was the film debut for Rita Moreno who was billed as being Rosita Moreno for this film.
Seeing that for the last two actresses answers appear seemingly are not to be going to be forthcoming, due to either not knowing who they are ,or because of loss of interest in this quiz,I will now reveal who they are.
A8 is Lynn Bari, seen above in a publicity photograph and lobby card publicising the film News Is Made At Night ( 1939 ). The other two images that had been displayed are from The Return Of The Cisco Kid ( 1939 ) and Orchestra Wives ( 1942 ), where she was performng the Serenade In Blue number ( singiing dubbed by Pat Friday ) with the Glenn Miller Orchestra as seen below.
Lynn Bari seen above with Warner Baxter in The Return Of The Cisco Kid ( 1939 ).
A11 is Dolores Michaels, seen above with Alan Ladd in a scene from One Foot In Hell ( 1960 ). The other two later images that had been displayed are from Five Gates To Hell ( 1959 ) and Battle at Bloody Beach ( 1961). I intend to spell this quiz for the time being and replace in the future it with one of my other currently dormant quizes
This selection of four actresses images range from films released in the 1920's through to the 1990's. All these actresses were well known in their day. At least one of them perhaps could present a problem in identifying.

Actually that is wrong. World wide web is three syllables and WWW is nine syllables!
Here is a handy checklist to help tell eMoviePoster.com apart from all other major auctions!

How about these three actresses then ?
I think the third one helps prove Anjelica Huston is a Highlander. Okie
Amy Adams in Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day ( 2008 ).
Bebe Daniels in The Maltese Falcon ( 1931 ) co-starring with Richardo Cortez.
To hopefully assist in figuring out who the final actress is, an image of the actress from the same film that the poster image was promoting.
Love the tagline on the poster. One of the best images I could find of Aline MacMahon.
Four more actresses to have a think about.
A6 is indeed Ruth Gordon and a younger image of her than one remembers seeing her on the screen in her later film career.
Harold And Maude ( 1971 ).
Two films she certainly will be remenbered for, along with Every Which Way But Loose (1978 )
A7 is Debbie Harry in a scene from Union City ( 1980 ) when she was billed as Deborah Harry.
A5 isn't Jacqueline Bisset but an actress with a very strong Australian connection.
Alfred's only daughter.
Psycho ( 1960 ) seen here with Janet Leigh.
Dramatic pose with her father Alfred Hitchcock.
Four more attractive actresses to identify. I am thinking that only one of the entries may present a problem, but then again maybe not.
Talia Shire seen here with Burgess Meredith in a scene from Rocky 111 ( 1982 ).
So Young, So Bad ( 1950 ). This was the film debut for Rita Moreno who was billed as being Rosita Moreno for this film.
