I have a questions regarding an E.T movie poster

Hello All,

I joined because I have what I believe is a poster. And I can't find anything that looks like it online. The only thing I've been able to find is the 27 x41 spaceship advance movie poster. The dimensions are 24x 17 5/8 at the top it has this written on it " Universal Broch. - Extraterrestrial   05/188"   at the bottom it has this written on it "caution:retouched art" on the side seam at the mid point it has a mark it looks like a black and white target on one side it says Berkey and on the other side it has Alldis. Just looking for any info on this. I really appreciated it.

Interesting? 05/188? The film wasn't rereleased in 2005. Maybe Charlie can shed some light on this.

My best wild stab in the dark is that it's been framed in tape for a photo shoot (hence the target which will help with focus) and the Universal Broch. means Brochure.

So it's a safe guess to say it's probably worth more than the $20 I paid for it?

The sticker has some thing to do with re registering a photo... https://www.google.com/patents/US3290975 I would guess a few things but David's is most likely the best explanation. We won't know if it was for an actual release or simple campaign for universal... Cool piece though!

Not necessarily.  And you probably will not know for certain until you try to resell it for a higher price...
