Correct.  Original title in the U.K. Escapement. Retitled The Electronic Monster for the U.S. release in 1960. The above British quad of Escapement is rare as is any U.K. paper of this title. Never released theatrically in Australia under either title.
  •   Image # 124. Name the film title. From an Australian daybill.
  • Barracuda, or is it Neptune Factor?
  • You tell me, 50% chance of getting it right. 100 % if you check out the daybill.

  • I'll go with Neptune

Just a thought and suggestion: Might be helpful to always show the complete poster, once the correct guess has been made.

Here is the full daybill image for The Neptune Factor:

No I don't! I am a HUGE Fritz Lang fan, and see a good argument for him being the very best overall director ever!

He made wonderful movies over five different decades, in different countries and languages, and his best were both silent and sound.

And he made different kinds of moves, although mostly in two genres.

  • I agree he was a great director and some of his movies are favourites of mine. One of his classic films, with this being M, I have only ever seen once through a terrible worn 16mm print shown at the film society I was involved in many years ago and I found viewing it hard going. I must try and locate a restored print, if one exists, and view it again.

As it was said earlier on, just to clarify matters, John is referring to Bruce's statement about Fritz Lang.
