A clue for 245 is meteor.

A final clue for both 244 and 245 is both are 1950's films that were released in the same year.

244 is Tobor the Great.
245 is Riders to the Stars (but i cheated on this one.  Never heard of it)

I was thinking Tobor (because of Robots from the clue...), but haven't had time to keep looking.

Correct and well done. Science fiction films aren't every persons favourite genre, Both Tobor the Great and Riders To the Stars from 1954.

Got it then...Missile to the Moon (1958). Just had to search for films with giant spiders in them!

Correct for 247. Good research then to find the answer. This film was released by the poverty row distributor Astor Pictures Corporation. I am sure the poster artwork would have be much better than the film itself.

12 to the Moon from 1960.  Saw that one ages ago.
