House of Dracula

I know this one isn't a full colour original, but does anyone have any idea when it might be from?

My quess and it is only a guess is 1950s and  sometime between 1950 & 1953.  I don't believe the poster is from the original 1940s release and as the film was getting a lot of bookings around the period I mentioned I am thinking it is from then. After 1953 F. Cunninghame started printing the Universal International posters going up up to 1960 and I don't believe it was printed in the 1960s although I suppose it is possible it was. F. Cunninghame had a certain look about there posters ( sub standard ) and this poster doesn't have that look about it plus no printers credit appear so that would rule out F. Cunninghame anyway.

An original Australian 3 sheet poster of House Of Dracula ( 1945 ). An isolated image from the top section of the poster.

Horror Of Dracula ( aka Dracula ) was banned in Australia under the Horror Of Dracula title on horror grounds in 1958.

The film was nevertheless passed passed for exhibition and screened in New Zealand under the Dracula title. Daybill posters were needed to be provided to cover the N.Z. release, so the above designs were produced using the original 1945 House Of Dracula image of Dracula threatening an intended victim.

An interesting thing that I hadn't noticed previously is that the two similar versions had to have been printed at different times. The blue version above on the left has the original 1945 company credit, and the red version on the right  has a late 1940s through to mid 1960s company credit.
