  • Rope...North by Northwest...Stewart...Grant...wow! Doesn't get much better than that! Nice Ves!  :)

above desk looks great too! Missing space...am guessing some sort of noir piece-would fit with other cool pieces.
  • Both Hitchcock RR's are way better than the originals. Luv that Spiral Staircase too.
  • Very nice Ves.

Look forward to seeing the last one...
  • The hitchcocks look fantastic together, and matt nailed it re: the appeal of these rereleases.
Film noir, oh where danger lives is gorgeous!
  • BTW Ves - those hangers work well?
  • Love the hanging system.  The hooks are held in place on the wires with a small screw so you can easily move them up and down the wires to get the height right, and the whole things slides easily on the rail to get the spacing right.  So no more worrying about where you are banging a nail into the wall!

If you have an odd one here or there, I think it is overkill, but if you have a whole wall where you have a bunch in a line, or a cluster, makes it so much easier.  I think for your set up, it would work great!  You can install them yourself.

I'll be tackling the ones in our bedroom next, so when done will post a pic which shows how great and versatile the hanging system can be.

  • Thanks for the nice words, I've been itching to get those Hitchcock's up for ages...
  • Tah-dah!  Finished :)  Next the bedroom...

  • All inspired so did a couple of more walls...

  • Great. I think I've seen that Jedda before - is it a half sheet?
  • Busy bee! Lovely posters and arrangments Ves!
  • Very nice, Ves! Is that lighting in the ceiling for the two half sheets? Cool.
  • Many thanks...not half sheet, both QUADS
  • Two Mules is a recent acquisition.

  • Nice stuff Matty and Ves!
  • Nice Matt!
  • Nice Matt! AU 3-sheets? They fit well in the wall spaces! Are those some sort of wall clips they hang from?
  • Hey matt, love that bridges at toki ri! Congrats on the mules pick up

I'm not sure if I would get used to have them up on the wall without framing; I'd worry about exposure to the elements (cat claw or kids hand swiping...yikes) and probably want consistency in displaying i.e. a frame. But of course tricky with a 3 sheet size. You could get a couple of custom frames made up for swapping, perhaps with border matting and just the Perspex and frame?

  • They won't be up for too long Sven and no kids here and the cat is very well behaved.

I want get 3 others linen backed and framed proper. My framer does the bigger sizes in Perspex.

  • Mark the hangers have many small rods in a V - type enclosure. Push the paper up inside will touch the rods bring them down and grip with gravity.
  • Sweet Matt - respect to those who hang their stuff!~
  • Oh they look great!

  • Just measured these two heavy weights for some spotlight frames...  Stay tuned!

  • Got wall?
  • Great lookin Hitchcock paper! Those will look righteous!
