Not Suitable For Children...

I've picked up some pretty off beat daybills recently for some more adult type fare and was wondering if anyone knew anything about the following companies:

* Greg Lynch Film Distributors.
* Mutual Film Distributors.
* Briad Film Productions.
* Lyra Films.

    Greg Lynch Film Distributors. Australian film distributor mainly in the 1980's of predominately low budget Australian independent films and overseas product including Hard Knocks, AC-DC Let Their Be Rock and The Secret Policeman's Ball.

    Mutual Film Distributors. 1970's film distributor. Australian film distributor, but very little known about them. May have had a connection with Briad Film Productions. Most likely a distributor of sex exploitation films.

    Briad Film Productions. 1970's Australian film distributor of sex exploitation films.

    Lyra Films.1970's film distributor of sex exploitation films.

  • Some additional information to add. Two 1970's sex exploitation films, namely The Danish Connection and Mrs. Stone's Thing were imported into Australia by Briad Film Productions, but the daybills produced for these titles have ''Released by Mutual Film Distributors'' printed on them. This now confirms a connection between Briad and Mutual, that I had suggested may have been the case previously.
