Not at all. A clue is that Caligula was strictly Adults only but the film the above image comes from was and still is suitable for families to see. One of the greats.

    Wayne's World

Wayne's World from 1992 is correct.
  •  # 51,
  •                                                       # 52 ( top ) & # 53 ( above ).

     # 51,
Great Gatsby (Leo version)...  I have to say these are borderline too difficult.  I like the ones I don't have to google search.

Winchester 73 and Quigley Down Under

    Ben Hur (Heston version)
  •  Firstly acknowledging the good job done from Charlie in answering correctly the answers to 50, 51, 52 and 53. I thought  50 and 51 would have been a little difficult but 52 and 53 I had thought were easy. # 53 film was shot of course in Australia and a nice image above of Tom Selleck with the type of rifle depicted used in the film.

A clue is the film from where the image from came is 1950's. One unhappy actor appeared in the film.

    Silver Chalice...
  •  54.
  • Like I said earlier these are too hard to be any fun. This could be anything - I am going with Anchorman.
  •  Sorry they are too hard to be any fun. Number 54  is going to be my last entry so a clue above indicates a musical. The image of the suit I posted, due to the lighting, doesn't show the true colour of the black suit. Hope this helps.
  • I didn't mean quit!  Just think of some more iconic props...

I already google searched the one above - Guys and Dolls
  • # 49 is correct as is # 54. I'll hand back to Mark now and concentrate on all things posters.

  •  # 56. One more.
  • Nothing like a good selfie of Uncle Ho!...

Thanks for filling in during my absence, Lawrence, I'll have some more soon!

Pleasure to contribute and I look forward to your return.

The two images 55 & 56 are from very well known films and in fact both are way up there with the very best in film making.

  • #56 apocalypse now?

Reg, Matt and Sven have admitted to having seen this film numerous times.
  • #55 Rear Window!
  • 57.  The Artist
  •  # 55. Correct Sven. Rear Window of course from 1954. I also have seen this great film many times and in fact probably due to see it again soon. IMBD trivia states " Ranked # 3 on the American Film Institute list of the 10 greatest films in the genre ''Mystery'' in June 2008 and in 2007 the AFI ranked Rear Window as the # 48 greatest movie of all time.

Correct and good work Ves. Deservedly won the 2011 Best Picture Oscar. Penelope Ann miller pictured above. Love this film and the dog wow!
